Founded in Lagos by Ope “Davies”, DaviesApparel is an atelier that unites classical craftsmanship with contemporary sensibility. We design and cut garments that are personal, technically excellent and timeless.
From native wear and ceremonial agbadas to tailored European suits, every piece is produced with intention — from cloth selection through finishing — for clients who expect considered design and steadfast quality.

Ope "Davies" Adebayo
Founder & Creative Director
An atelier-trained designer with two decades of tailoring experience across Lagos and Europe. Ope leads design direction, client consultations, and bespoke pattern-making.
Maria Eze
Head Cutter & Chief Tailor
Master cutter who oversees fittings, toile construction and final finishes. Maria ensures every silhouette balances form, comfort and longevity.
Sam Okonkwo
Production & Quality Lead
Sam runs production workflow, fabric sourcing logistics and quality assurance — guaranteeing the same meticulous standard from sample to delivery.
Our Fabric Manufacturer
We source premium cloth through carefully-vetted mills and merchants that meet our standards for hand, composition and traceability. Our selection includes Italian woolens (super 120–160), premium cotton shirtings, handwoven local textiles, and specialty blends for ceremonial wear.
Quality & Traceability
- Certifications: whichever applies, we prioritise mills with verified supply chain credentials.
- Sampling: every batch is approved via inspection and labelling for composition and weight.
- Small-batch partners: to ensure consistent hand and reduced overstock.
Sustainability
We minimize waste through optimized cutting layouts, responsibly store offcuts for secondary use, and prefer suppliers using low-impact dyeing processes where feasible.

Fittings are by appointment to ensure dedicated time with our cutters. Bookings can be made online or by phone.
